Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research (DIPSAR) starts its journey in 1964 at Kashmere gate polytechnic. Now at present, DIPSAR is one of the best Pharmacy Institute in India. It is situated on a 10 acres campus in South Delhi. Institute has moved to the present campus in 1979. The Institute awards Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral degrees in Pharmacy under University of Delhi, in addition to D. Pharmacy course. It is funded by Govt. of NCT of Delhi, and is affiliated to University of Delhi. The Institute campus encompasses the Institute building with a well-established library, a Herbal garden, a utility block consisting of Food court, shops. Gymnasium, indoor games facility etc. Two Hostels, a sports complex, a Guest house, and 37 residential Quarters for the staff and a multipurpose hall. The Institute is maintaining an outstanding record of academic excellence. Majority of the students Qualify GATE with flying colors every year.
