DGFASLI Recruitment 2010 for Administrative Officer


The Directorate General, Factory Advice Service and Labour Institutes ( DGFASLI ) was established in 1945 as an an attached office of the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India. Its headquarter is located in Mumbai. It gives advice to Central And State Governments on administration of the Factories Act and coordinating the factory inspection services in the states. It also maintains overall liaison with its Central and Regional Labour Institutes, frames policy, plans and executes the program concerning the organization on matters pertaining to safety, health and welfare of workers in industries and docks and implements technical projects and liaises with national and international agencies.

Applications are invited by DGFASLI for the post of Administrative Officer on contract basis and the details are :

Administrative Officer
No. of vacancies : 3 posts ( 1 each at Central Labour Institute, Mumbai and Regional Labour Institutes of Kanpur and Faridabad )
Pay scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/-
Contract period : Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment shall ordinarily not more than 3 years.
Qualification : If candidates are Officers from the Central Government Departments then he/she should have done 8 years of regular service in posts in the pre-revised payscale of Rs. 5000-8000/- or equivalent [ Revised – Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay – Rs. 4200] with an experience of
establishment/financial work.
