DERC Vacancy 2010


Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission ( DERC ) was setup on 2nd July 1988 by the Government of NCT of of Delhi. It determine the tariff for electricity, wholesale bulk, grid or retail, as the case maybe, in the manner provided in section 29 of the Electricity Regulatory Commission Act, 1998.

DERC invites Applications for the various posts and the details are as following.

1. 1 post is for Secretary
Pay scale: PB- 4 Rs.37400-67000 with grade pay of Rs.10000/- Group-A
Qualifications: Candidate should be graduate with the experience of working in a  regulatory agency / centre and should hold analogous post on regular basis.

2. 1 post is for Joint Director ( Tariff Finance )
Pay scale: PB- 4 Rs.37400-67000 with grade pay of Rs.8700/- Group-A
Qualifications: Candidate should posses PG Degree in in Finance / Accountancy /Commerce OR CA/ ICWA with the experience in Financial Analysis of Investment decisions in Power Sector and knowledge of Financial Procedures in Commercial Enterprises is desirable.

3. 1 post is for Deputy Director ( Law )
Pay scale: PB- 3 Rs.15600-39100/- with grade pay of Rs.6600/- Group-A
Qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of law with the experience of handling legal matters in middle level position in Central Govt. OR State Govt. OR any PSU involving administrative, commercial & contract law .

4. 1 post is for Principal Private Secretary   
Pay scale:PB- 3 Rs.15600-39100/- with grade pay of Rs.6600/- Group-A
Qualifications: Candidate should be graduate and have good knowledge of computerised word processing  and short hand & typing with the experience of working as Personal Secretary to HoD for 5 years in Central / State Government OR any PSU/Corporation under Govt and Diploma in Office Management & Secretarial Practice is desirable.

5. 1 post is for Assistant Accounts Officer
Pay scale: PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800/- Group – B
Qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of B.Com with 6 years regular service in Junior Accounts cadre of a Central / State Govt. OR any PSU/ Corporation under Central / State Govt. with at least 4 years experience in accounts branch.

6. 2 posts are for Personal Assistant
Pay scale: PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/- Group – B
Qualifications: Candidate should be graduate with proficiency in typing English (40 wpm), Shorthand English (80 wpm), Computing ( 8000 kdph) and should have done at least 3 years of service in a Central/State Govt.OR any PSUs of Central/State Govt. involving exposure to computer operations .

7. 3 posts are for Steno cum Computer Operator
Pay scale: PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/- Group – B
Qualifications: Candidate should be graduate with proficiency in typing English (40 wpm), Shorthand English (80 wpm), Computing ( 8000 kdph) and should have done at least 3 years of service in a Central/State Govt.OR any PSUs of Central/State Govt. involving exposure to computer operations .

8. 2 posts are for Clerk – cum – Operator
Pay scale: PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200/- with grade pay of Rs. 2400/- Group – C
Qualifications: Candidate should be graduate with proficiency in typing English (40 wpm), Shorthand English (30 wpm), Computing ( 6000 kdph) and should have done at least 2 years of service in a Central/State Govt.OR any PSUs of Central/State Govt. involving exposure to computer operations .
