The Central University of Gujarat (CUG) has been established by the Parliament vide the Central University Act, 2009. The vision of the CUG is to establish as a center of excellence with social commitment, integrating modern, scientific and technological knowledge and skills with the basic human ethos and values.Its main objective is to educate and train manpower for the development of the country, To make special provisions for integrated courses in humanities, social sciences, science and technology in its educational programmes, To pay special attention to the improvement of the social and economic conditions and welfare of the people, their intellectual, academic and cultural development and its mission is to provide education to deserved and create an opportunity for training students to tackle the emerging challenges of the globalized technology international competitiveness, leadership in thought and action, and develop entrepreneurial abilities for creation of wealth and prosperity for their own country and peace and happiness for people.

CUG invites applications for the following positions:

Deputy Registrar
Experience: Candidates should have at least 9 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs.6000/-
Additional Notes:
14. Candidates applied for the posts of Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar and Assistant Librarian, relaxation of 5% (i.e.from 55% to 50%) marks at Masters Level and 5% relaxation at Graduate Level under the term“Good academic record” at par with SC/ST candidates to the Physically and Visually Handicapped candidates is allowed. 15. Reservation to  PH category is as below: Group-A: ASSISTANT REGISTRAR-1 out of 2 UR posts is reserved for persons suffering from blindness or low vision (VH). Group-B: ASSISTANT-1 out of 2 UR posts is reserved for persons suffering from locomotor disability or cerebral palsy (OH). Group-C: UDC-1 post (for ST) is reserved for persons suffering from hearing impairment (HH).
