The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) was formed in 1942 by the Government of India under the Ministry of Science & Technology as an autonomous body. Its main aim is to provide industrial competitiveness, social welfare, strong S&T base for strategic sectors and advancement of fundamental knowledge. It is the world’s largest publicly funded R&D organisations having linkages to academia, R&D organisations and industry. It has in total 36 laboratories and 39 outreach centres. Its Headquarter is situated in New Delhi .
CSIR invites applications for the post of Scientists in different areas and the details are ;
1.) Scientists C ( Group IV (2) )
Total No. of posts : 6
Pay scale : PB – 3 Rs. 15600-39100/- with GP of Rs. 6600/-
Age limit : Maximum 35 years
Qualification :
- Post 1 ( Code A( UR ) ) and Post 2 ( Code B(OBC ) ): Candidate should have the degree of Ph.D. in Bioinformatics with one year of experience with computer operating skills.
- Post 3 [code C(UR)] and Post 4 [code D(SC)]: Candidate should have the degree of Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences with one year of experience.
- Post 5 [code E(UR)]; Post 6 [code F(ST)]: Candidate should have the degree of M.E. / M.Tech. with 2 years of experience or Ph.D. in Engineering.
2.) Scientist-EI [Group IV(3)]
Total No. of posts : 5
Pay scale : PB – 3 Rs. 15600-39100/- with GP of Rs. 7600/-
Age limit : Maximum 40 years
Qualification :
- Post 1 (code G): Candidate should have the degree of MD (Ayurveda) with 5 years of experience.
- Post 2 (code H) : Candidate should have the degree of Ph.D. (Medicinal Chemistry / Biochemistry) with 4 years of experience.
- Post 3 (code I): Candidate should have the degree of Ph.D. (Medicinal Chemistry) with 4 years of experience.
- Post 4 (code J): Candidate should have the degree of Ph.D. (Engineering) with 3 years of experience.
- Post 5 (code K): Candidate should have the degree of Ph.D. (Physics) with 4 years of experience.
3.) Scientist-EII [Group IV(4)]
No. of posts : 2
Code : L
Pay scale : Rs. 37400-67000/- with GP of Rs. 8700/-
Age limit : Maximum 45 years
Qualification : Candidate should have the degree of Ph.D. in Biological Sciences with 7 years of experience and candidates with MBA will be preferred.
4.) Scientist-F [Group IV(5)]
no. of posts : 2
Code : M
Pay scale : Rs. 37400-67000/- with GP of Rs. 8900/-
Age limit : Maximum 50 years
Qualification : Candidate should have the degree of Ph.D. in Chemical/ Physical Sciences with 10 years of experience or Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences with 8 years of experience.
