Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board (CSEB) was formed on 15th November 2000 and it became functional on 1st December 2000. The main aim of the company is to make Chhattisgarh State Power Companies as the Best Power Utilities in India by generating adequate and reliable power through most economical and efficient way.

Applications are invited by CSEB for the positions in C.S. Power Distribution /Generation/ Transmission/ Trading/Holding Co Ltd. and the details are as follows:

1. 227 posts are for Assistant engineers under which

• 48 post are for Mechanical/Production engineers
• 111 for Electricals/Electrical & Electronics
• 15 for Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunications
• 35 for Civil
• 9 for Computer Science
• 9 for Information Technology

Pay Scale : Rs.20425-675(3) -22450-900(8)- 29650-1250(15)- 48400
Age limit: 18-45 years
Qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of BE/B.Tech./B.Sc(Engg.) /AMIE in Mechanical/ Electrical/Electronics/Civil/Computer Science/Information Technology . In case of Electrical Engineering the other degree “Electrical & Electronics”/”Electrical Instrumentation” will be considered at par of Electrical. Similarly in case of Mechanical Engineering, the degree of “Production Engineering” will also be considered equivalent to Mechanical. In case of Electronics Engineering, “Electronics & Telecommunication”/ “Electronics & Instrumentation” will also be considered at par of Electronics.

2. 10 posts are for Shift Chemists
Age limit: 18-45 years
Pay scale: Rs.20425-675(3) -22450-900(8)- 29650-1250(15)- 48400
Qualifications: Candidate should have the degree of M.Sc in Chemistry with at least 60% marks in aggregate from any Indian University recognized by the UGC.
