The Central Rice Research Institute ( CRRI ) is an institute under ICAR – The Indian Council of Agricultural research and was established on 22nd April 1946 at Bidhyadharpur, Cuttack, Orissa . CRRI conducts research in all respects of Rice and transfer of technologies. It is a head crop institute of ICAR and is controlled by the  Deputy Director General. It has two research stations- Central Rain fed Upland Rice Research Station (CRURRS), Hazaribagh, in Jharkhand, and the Regional Rain fed Lowland Rice Research Station (RRLRRS), Gerua, in Assam. The main aim of CRRI is to improve the quality and income of life of rice farmers of India.

CRRI invites applications for the following posts which are temporary and is sanctioned under KVK, Santhpur of CRRI , Cuttack-753006 and the details are:

1. 3 posts are for T-6 ( Subject Matter specialists )
   Pay scale: PB-3 Rs.15600-39100/- with GP of Rs.5400/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should have masters degree or equivalent in the relevant subject from a recognized university .
   Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a KVK or other related organization.
2. 1 post for T-3 ( Computer Assistant )
   Pay scale: PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/- with GP of Rs. 2800/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should have degree of B.Sc or Bachelors degree in Computer applications/ PG Diploma in Computer applications.
   Experience: At least 2 years of experience in handling agri based data on computers.
3. 1 post for T—3 ( Programme Assistant )
   Pay scale: PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/- with GP of Rs. 2800/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should have Bachelors degree in agriculture or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
   Experience: Should have field experience as a programme assistant and should have proper knowledge of computers.
4. 1 post for T-3 ( Farm Manager )
   Pay scale: PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/- with GP of Rs. 2800/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should have Bachelors degree in agriculture or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
   Experience: Should have field experience as a programme assistant and should have proper knowledge of computers.
5. 1 post is for Stenographer Grade – III
   Pay scale: PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/- with GP of Rs. 2400/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should be graduate with the certificate of certificate and typing with proper knowledge of computers.
6. 1 post is for T-1 ( Driver )
   Pay scale: PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/- with GP of Rs. 2000/-
   Qualifications: Candidate should have passed matriculation examination and should have driving license .
   Experience : Should have experience of driving in a recognized institute  / Experience of motor mechanic work / 1 year trade certificate in Motor Mechanic from ITI.
