Coir Board was established by the Government of India under the Act passed in Legislature namely Coir Industry Act 1953 (45 of 1953) for the growth and progress of coconut industry in India and abroad. It is involved in the collection of statistical data for manufacturers and distributors of coconut products and other people that everything can be related to the coconut industry.

Coir Board of India invites applications for the following posts :

1. Assistant Director ( Training )
   No. of posts : 1
   Pay scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800 /- with GP of Rs. 4600/-
   Age limit : Candidate should not be more than 35 years of age.
   Qualification : Candidate should have the degree of B.Sc with Diploma in advanced Coir Technology and three years practical experience.
   Application fees : Rs.100/-
2. Showroom Manager ( Grade – III )
   no.of posts : 2
   Pay scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800 /- with GP of Rs. 4200/-
   Age limit : Candidate should not be more than 35 years of age.
   Qualification : Candidate should have Degree with 2 years experience in Marketing of consumer products.
   Application fees : Rs. 100/-
3. Salesman
   No. of posts : 13
   Pay scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200/- with GP of Rs. 1900/-
   Age limit : Candidate should not be more than 30 years of age.
   Qualification : Candidate should have the degree of SSLC or equivalent with knowledge of Book Keeping and Accountancy and 30 words per minute in typewriting essential.
   Application fees : Rs. 50/-
4. Hamal cum Stitcher
   No. of posts : 6
   Pay scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200/- with GP of Rs. 1800/-
   Age limit : Candidate should not be more than 35 years of age.
   Qualification : Candidate should have passed middle school standard with minimum 2 years of experience in stitching and work connected with the sale of coir and coir goods.
   Application fees : Rs. 50/-
