Cochin Shipyard was incorporated in the year 1972 as a fully owned Government of India company. Shipyard commenced ship repair operations in the year 1982. Shipyard has build various type of vessels including Tankers, Bulk Carriers, Port Crafts, Passenger Vessels etc.

Cochin Shipyard Limited invites applications for the following positions :

Deputy Manager (Finance) E-2
Posts: 1 (VH)
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 35 years as on 5.06.2010.
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.20600-46500/-
Qualification: Candidates should be graduate and have passed the final examination of Institute of Charted Accountants of India/ Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.
Experience: Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in the relevant field.
Asst Manager ( Materials ) E-1 Grade
Posts: 1 (VH)
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 30 years as on 5.06.2010.
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.16400-40500.
Qualification: Candidates should have a Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering Degree with at least 60% marks from a recognised University with minimum 3 years of experience in the relevant field. or Graduate in Engineering with at least 60% marks with Post Graduate qualification in Business Management with specialization and 2 years of experience in the relevant field.
Ass Manager (Mechanical) E-1 Grade
Posts: 2 (VH/HH)
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 30 years as on 5.06.2010
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.16400-40500.
Qualification: Candidates should have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognised University and having at least 3 years of post qualification experience in the relevant field.
Welder Cum Fitter Workmen Grade-3
Posts: 2 (VH/HH)
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 30 years as on 5.06.2010
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.8900-18500.
Qualification: Candidates should pass in SSLC, ITI and All India National Trade Test and having at least 5 years of experience in the relevant field.
