Coal India Limited ( CIL ) is the largest coal producing company in the world formed on 1st November 1975. It’s headquarter is in Kolkata. It is a Schedule ‘A’ ‘Navratna’ Public Sector Undertaking under Ministry of Coal, Government of India. The main aim of CIL is to produce the planned quantity of coal, efficiently and economically with due regard to safety, conservation and quality.
