The Central University of Punjab ( CUP ) Bathinda was established on 20th march 2009. It is one of the important links in the recently set up chain of Central Universities created in the educationally backward areas of India. It works with utmost ethics, transparency, non-interference, accountability and decentralization. It offers a wide range of instructional and research facilities across integrated and cross-disciplinary studies and innovation in teaching, learning, evaluation, research and consultancy services.

Applications are invited by CUP for the following posts and the details are :

1. Registrar
2. Finance Officer

Pay scale : Rs. 37400 – 67000/- with Grade pay of Rs. 10000/- plus other allowances
Qualification : Candidate should posses masters degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade of "B" in UGC seven point scale in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institute with the degree of Ph.D in any subject.
Experience : At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 7000 and above or with 8 years’ of service in the AGP of Rs. 8000 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration.
Period of appointment : 3 years
