Central Silk Board Vacancy April 2010


Central Silk Board was formed in 1949. It is a national organization for the development of sericulture and silk industry. Its head quarter is situated in Bangalore. Indian silk is the industrial monthly journal of Central Silk Board. It create greater opportunities for gainful employment and improved levels of income in sericulture through spread of scientific sericulture practices. It also advice and report to Govt. of India on all matters relating to the development of the raw silk industry, including the import and export of raw silk.

Central Silk Board invites applications for the post of Director in Central Silk Technological Research Institute, Bangalore and the details are:

Director
No. of post: 1
Deputation period: 3 years
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 53 years.
Pay scale: PB-4 Rs.37400-67000 +GP of Rs.8700/-
Qualification: Candidate should have Doctorate degree in Textiles or an equivalent qualification.
Experience: At least 12 years of Research experience out of which 5 years should be in the capacity of Joint Director.
