Central Bank of India was established in 1911. It was the first Indian Commercial bank which was wholly owned and managed by Indians. The Bank has weathered may storms and faced many challenges at starting point. Central Bank of India holds a very prominent place among the Public Sector Banks on account of its network of 3563 branches and 195 extension counters at various centres throughout the length and breadth of the country.Bank has been playing an increasingly active role in promoting the key thrust areas of agriculture, small scale industries as also medium and large industries. The Bank also introduced a number of Self Employment Schemes to promote employment among the educated youth.

Central Bank of India invites applications for the following positions :

Managing Director
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 50 years.
Qualification: Candidates should be a Graduate – preferably Commerce or Science from AICTE approved Institute/recognized University with CA or MBA from a reputed Institute.
Experience: Candidates should have minimum 10 years of experience in Housing Finance/ Retail Banking and minimum 5 years in Senior Management Position.
Critical Skills & Capabilities: Candidates should have good knowledge of Computer especially in MS Office. Candidates should have strong Management skills with demonstrable leadership, creativity and innovation. Able to efficiently handle and motivate the Human Resource of the company. Strong Oral and Written Communication skills and experience in facilitating positive and proactive communication with and among the Board of Directors with regards to strategic plans, policies and programs.Willingness and ability to devote necessary time for the company well being and growth. Able to handle extensive travel for various work related duties like organizing/attending meetings, workshops etc during working and non-working days.

Application Fee
Application fee is Rs.1000/- payable by way of Draft drawn on any Nationalised/Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of Central Bank of India- Recruitment of MD-CBHFL and payable at Mumbai.
