The Central Board of Secondary Education ( CBSE ) was fully constituted in 1962. It is a self-financing body which meets the recurring and non-recurring expenditure without any grant-in-aid either from the Central Govt. or from any other source. All the financial requirements of the Board are met from the annual examination charges, affiliation fee, admission fee for PMT. All India Engineering Entrance Examination and sale of Board’s publications. Its main objective is to prescribe conditions of examinations and conduct public examination at the end of Class X and XII and award qualifying certificates to successful candidates of the affiliated schools.

CBSE Delhi invites applications for the post of Secretary who is the Chief Administrative Officer of the Board and exercises all such powers and functions as are prescribed by the Board’s regulations and the details are :

SECRETARY
Method of Appointment: Deputation
Pay scale: PB – 4 Rs. 37400‐67000/- with GP of Rs.8700/‐
Age limit: Candidate should not be more than 56 years of age.
Qualifications: Candidate should hold analogous post with Bachelors degree.
Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in the areas of management / administration / finance / vigilance etc and candidates with the experience in education administration in the relevant field would be desirable.
