Bhabha Atomic Research Centre ( BARC ) was formed in 1954, India’s primary nuclear research facility based in Mumbai. It has a number of nuclear reactors which are used for India’s nuclear power and research programme. The first reactors at BARC and its affiliated power generation centres were imported from the west. India’s first power reactors, installed at the Tarapur Atomic Power Plant (TAPP) were from the United States.

Applications are invited from ITI Certificate Holders and Diploma Holders for Apprenticeship Training, as per the Provisions of Apprentices Act 1961, in BARC

1. Fitter
Posts: 14
Stipend: Candidates will get stipend of Rs.1440/-.
Qualification: Candidates should be SSC or equivalent with at least 50% marks in Math and Science subjects put together plus IT Certificate ( National Trade Certificate ).
2. Turner
Posts: 8
Stipend: Candidates will get stipend of Rs.1440/-.
Qualification: Candidates should be SSC or equivalent with at least 50% marks in Math and Science subjects put together plus IT Certificate ( National Trade Certificate ).
3. Machinist
Posts: 8
Stipend: Candidates will get stipend of Rs.1440/-.
Qualification: Candidates should be SSC or equivalent with at least 50% marks in Math and Science subjects put together plus IT Certificate ( National Trade Certificate ).
4. Electrician
Posts: 6
Stipend: Candidates will get stipend of Rs.1440/-.

5. Mech. (Motor Vehicle)
Posts: 17
Stipend: Candidates will get stipend of Rs.1440/-.
Qualification: Candidates should be SSC or equivalent with at least 50% marks in Math and Science subjects put together plus IT Certificate ( National Trade Certificate ).
6. Electronic Mechanic
Posts: 1

7. Machinist (Grinder)

8. Draughtman Mechanic

9. Mech. Machine Tool Maint
Posts: 3
Stipend: Candidates will get stipend of Rs.1620/-.

10. Carpenter
Posts: 1
Stipend: Candidates will get stipend of Rs.1240/- first year and 1440/- 2nd year.
Qualification: Candidates should be SSC or equivalent with at least 50% marks in Math and Science subjects put together plus IT Certificate ( National Trade Certificate )
11. Welder
Posts: 5
Stipend: Candidates will get stipend of Rs.1440/-.
Qualification: Candidates should be 8th pass under 10+2 system or equivalent plus IT Certificate ( National Trade Certificate )
12. Painter
Posts: 1
Stipend: Candidates will get stipend of Rs.1440/-.

13. Med. Lab Technician

Qualification: Candidates should have respective vocational course certificate in 10+2 ( vocational) schooling.
14. X-ray Technician

Stipend: Candidates will get stipend of Rs.1440/-.

15. Opthalmic Technician
Posts: 2
Stipend: Candidates will get stipend of Rs.1440/-.
Qualification: Candidates should have respective vocational course certificate in 10+2 ( vocational) schooling.
16. Dip. in Mechanical Engg.
Posts: 8
Stipend : Candidates will get stipend of Rs.1850/-
Qualification: Candidates should have relevant Diploma in Engg. with at least 50% marks.
17. Dip. in Automobile Engg.
Posts: 2
Stipend : Candidates will get stipend of Rs.1850/-
Qualification: Candidates should have relevant Diploma in Engg. with at least 50% marks.

Note: Candidates should be more than 18 years.
