Baba Farid University of Health Sciences ( BFUHS ) was formed in July 1998 by the Government of Punjab in the memory of great Sufi Saint Baba Farid. Its main aim is to  create an intellectual, academic and physical environment, conducive to free flow of ideas and exchange of information between various faculties of the University and between this University and other Universities of Health Sciences in the country and abroad,thereby opening a window to the world for the health professionals, health planners, health managers, biomedical and social scientists and educators in health sciences of the country .

Applications are invited by BFUHS for the various posts :

1. Supervisor ( Laundry )
   no. of posts : 1
   Salary : As per negotiation
   Qualification : Candidate should be graduate with at least 5 years of experience in a
   big laundry.
2. Laboratory Technician
   no. of post : 13
   Salary : Rs.10,000/- per month with B.Sc. MLT qualification AND Rs.8,500/- per month with DMLT qualification ( Consolidated )
   Qualification : Candidate should be 12th pass with science and should posses diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology. Candidates with B.Sc.(MLT) qualification will be preferred. Knowledge of Punjabi up to Matriculation level is a must.
3. Radiographer
   No. of posts : 2
   Salary : Rs. 10000/- per month consolidated
   Qualification : Candidate should be 12th pass with science and should posses diploma in Radiography with Knowledge of Punjabi up to Matriculation level .
4. O.T.A.
   No. of posts : 7
   Salary : Rs. 8500/- per month consolidated
   Qualification : Candidate should be 10 & 12th pass with science and should posses diploma in O.T.A from a recognized Institution with Knowledge of Punjabi up to Matriculation level .
5. Laboratory Attendant
   No. of posts : 6
   Salary : Rs.6,000/- with DMLT qualification AND Rs.5,000/- with Matric qualification
   Qualification : Candidate should have passed 10th std. with science and candidates with diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology will be preferred and the knowledge of Punjabi language till matriculation level is a must.
6. Refractionist ( Ophthalmic Officer )
   No. of posts : 1
   Salary : Rs. 13500/- per month consolidated
   Qualification : Candidate should passed Senior Secondary Part-II examination in Science with Biology as one of the subject with diploma of Ophthalmic Assistant.
7. Data Entry Operator
   No. of posts : 30
   Salary : Rs. 6000/- per month consolidated
   Qualification : Candidate should be graduate from any stream and should posses PG Diploma in computer applications.
8. Steno Typists
   No.of posts : 6
   Salary : Rs. 6500/- per month consolidated
   Qualification : Candidate should be graduate and should have minimum speed of 80/40 WPM in English Shorthand/Typing & proficiency in Computers.

age limit : 18 – 37 years of age

Last date : 17th September 2010
Application fees : DD of Rs. 500/- drawn in favour of The Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot payable at Faridkot.
