Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) was formed on 1st November 1973. It has the mandate to Recruitment to posts in the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) of the ICAR and to such other posts and services that the President, ICAR, may specify from time to time, Advising the Council on disciplinary matters relating to personnel recruited through ASRB or appointed by the Council in consultation with the Board, Rendering such other assistances to the Council in personnel matters, including promotion, as may be required by the President, ICAR, Recruitment to posts in the Combined cadres of Administrative Officers/Finance & Accounts Officers of the ICAR which are required to be filled by direct recruitment.

ASRB invites applications for the following positions :

Assistant Director General/ Director/ Project Director / Joint Director
Posts: 10
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.37400-67000 and RGP Rs.10000/-
Age limit: Candidates should be less than 60 years.
Qualification: Candidates should have Doctoral Degree in the relevant field.
Experience: Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in the relevant field.
Head of Division/ Joint Director of Institute/ Project Coordinator
Posts: 26
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.37400-67000 and RGP Rs.10000/-
Age limit: Candidates should be less than 60 years.
Qualification: Candidates should have Doctoral Degree in the relevant field.
Experience: Candidates should have at least 8 years of experience in the relevant field.
Principal Scientist
Posts: 20
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.37400-67000 and RGP Rs.10000/-
Age limit: Candidates should be less than 60 years.
Qualification: Candidates should have Doctoral Degree in the relevant field.
Experience: Candidates should have at least 8 years of experience in the relevant field.
