Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited ( APTransco ) was established on 1st February 1999 to take care of transmission of electricity of Andhra Pradesh. From 1999 to 2005 APTransco remained as Single buyer in the state -purchasing power from different Generators and selling it to DISCOMs in accordance with the terms and conditions of the individual PPAs at Bulk Supply Tariff (BST) rates. Subsequently, in accordance with the Third Transfer Scheme notified by GoAP, APTransco has ceased to do power trading and has retained with powers of controlling system operations of Power Transmission.

APTransco invites ONLINE applications from Indian Nationals for the post of Junior Accounts Officers and the details are as following :

Junior Accounts Officer
No. of posts : 26
Pay scale : Rs. 19450 – 31880 /-
Age limit : Minimum 18 years and maximum 34 years as on 1st August 2010
Qualification : Candidate should have the degree of B.Com with 1st division OR M.Com. in 1st class from any recognized University in India (or) pass in CA – Inter (or) pass in ICWA-Inter. They shall acquire the qualification as on the date of Notification.

date of examination : 12th September 2010
Examination Centre: The written examination for recruitment will be held at different centers located only in Hyderabad.
Application fees : Application fees of Rs. 350/- towards Examination Fee in addition to the Application Processing Fee. Candidate should pay the fee through AP Online portal OR as per the notification in any one of the A.P. Online centers and obtain Fee paid receipt with Journal Number( 12 digit) in the first instance.
