Andhra Pradesh State Seeds Development Corporation Limited ( APSSDCL ) was formed on 26th March 1976. Government of Andhra Pradesh, Government of India through National Seeds Corporation, and shareholder farmers are the main participants of this corporation. It has a total strength of 311 employees in its twenty District Units. Its registered office is located at Hyderabad . Its main aim is to produce good quality seeds for timely supply to the farmers in the State at reasonable prices and ensure the availability of seed to meet contingent situations like drought or flood, so the farming community can access alternate crops and ensure food security.

APSSDCL invites applications for the post of Seed officers and the details are as following :

Seed Officers
No. of vacancies : 30 posts
Pay scale : Rs.16150 – 42590/-
Age limit : Minimum 18 and Maximum 34 years as on 1st July 2010
Qualifications : Candidate should posses the degree of B.Sc ( Agriculture ) from any of the reputed and recognized state Agricultural University and should be conversant in Telugu Language and capable of interacting with the farmers.
Mode of Selection : Written test will be held for selecting the candidates.
