AP PSC Notification 2010


Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released the notification for the recruitment in 50 posts in different fields.  The candidates have to apply ONINE at the official website.

APPSC  Online Application dates : from 19th Jan 2010 To 16th Feb 2010

Last date of payment of Application fee is 11th Feb2010

Age required : The candidates should be between 18-39 yrs.

APPSC is conducting the exams for the following posts :
1. Technical Assistant (Geophysics) in Groundwater Subordinate Services. –10 posts
Pay scale : Rs. 9285-21550 /-
Educational Qualifications : Candidate should have degree in M.Sc. or M.Sc. (Tech) , M.Tech or its equivalent in Geophysics from university recognized by UGC.
2. Assistant Hydrologists in Groundwater Subordinate Services – 5 posts
Pay scale : Rs. 10285-24200/-
Educational Qualification : Should have Civil Engineering degree with Geology or M.Sc. (Hydrology) from university recognized by UGC.
3. Technical Assistants (Hydrology) in Groundwater subordinate services – 5 posts
Pay scale : Rs. 9285-21550/-

Educational Qualification : Should have Civil Engineering degree with Geology or M.Sc. (Hydrology) from university recognized by UGC.
4. Assistant Hydrologists in AP Groundwater services – 20 posts
Pay Scale : Rs. 10285-24200/-
Educational Qualification : Candidate should have degree in M.Sc. or M.Sc. (Tech) , M.Tech or its equivalent in Geology from university recognized by UGC.
5. Technical Assistants (Hydrology) in Groundwater subordinate services – 10 posts
Pay scale : Rs.9285-21550/-

How to apply : Candidates have to apply Online only. You have to log on to the official website www.apspsc.gov.in & enter details like name, father’s name, date of birth, community. Then you will get a challan form which has to be downloaded & pay the fee of Rs. 25/- at AP Online centres/ Sate Bank of India will get fee paid challan with the Journal number. Then on the next working day, again go to official website & enter the Journal Number to get the format of application. Then fill all the details correctly online.

APPSC selection procedure : The selection will be on the basis of written test & interview.

Centre of Written test : Hyderabad only.
