Anna University is a unitary university formed on 4th September 1978. It is located in the southern part of the city of Madras (Chennai). it has a variety of buildings serving the various needs of the University community. The Anna University ,which is of the affiliated type is a member of the Association of Indian Universities, the Association of Commonwealth Universities and Partner of UNESCO International Center for Engineering Education (UICEE). UGC have accredited Anna University with Five Star Status in 2002 which is the highest rating.

   Qualifications : Candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 3 years experience in Video production or direction .
3. Junior Research Officer

   Qualifications : Candidate should have Master’s degree in any subject or Bachelors degree in Engineering with 2 years experience in Video production related research.
4. Engineer Grade –I

   Qualifications : Candidate should have the degree of B.E. in Electronics or Telecommunication with 2 years experience in relevant field.
5. Section Officer ( Admn. )

   Pay scale : Rs.9300-34800/-
   Qualification : Candidate should have masters degree in any subject preferable with degree in law or post-graduate diploma in personnel management.
6. Cameraperson

   Pay scale : Rs.9300-34800/-
   Qualification : Candidate should be 12th pass with Diploma in Video production/ Cinematography.
7. Graphic Artists

   Qualification : Candidate should have diploma in applied art .
8. Production Assistant

   Pay scale : Rs.9300-34800/-
   Qualification : Candidate should have bachelors degree in engineering with 1 year of experience in production .
9. Technical Assistant

   Pay scale : Rs.9300-34800/-
   Qualification : Candidate should be 12th pass with diploma of 3 years in electronics and 1 year of experience in operation / maintenance of video equipments.
10. Professional Assistant ( Library )
    no. of posts : 1
    Pay scale : Rs.9300-34800/-
    Qualification : Candidate should have degree in any subject with B.Lib Science and 5 years of experience in media library.
11. Accounts Assistant

    Pay scale : Rs.9300-34800/-
    Qualification : Candidate should have degree of B.Com with 5 years of experience in accounting matters with the knowledge of computers.
12. Personal assistant

    Qualification : Candidate should be graduate with the knowledge of shorthand and the speed must be 100 words per minute and 5 years of experience as a stenographer is necessary.
13. Technician

    Qualification : Candidate should be 10th pass with ITI certificate in video / audio / electronics and 2 years of experience is required.
14. Stenographer

    Qualification : Candidate should be graduate with the knowledge of shorthand and the speed must be 80 words per minute .
15. Lower Division Clerk

    Qualification : Candidate should be 12th pass with 2 years experience in office work .
16. Driver cum Helper

    Qualification : Candidate should be 10th pass with valid license to drive public medium heavy vehicle and 3 years experience.
17. Unit Peon

    Pay scale : Rs. 5200-20200/-
    Qualification : Candidate should be 10th pass with 3 years experience in art/ drama / media.
18. Peon

    Pay scale : Rs. 4800 – 10000/-
    Qualification : Candidate should be 8th pass with experience in establishments using hi – tech equipment.

Age limit : Maximum 55 years of age.
