AFRO jobs 2010


Air Force Record Office ( AFRO ) was merged with the Directorate of Personnel Airmen in June 1958 at New Delhi. It is responsible for all aspects of personnel management of airmen and NCs(E), from the date of their entry in the Air Force till release of pensionary benefits, including family pension in required cases. Its main aim is to overwhelm the adversaries with application of aerospace power in defence of the nation. It place the right men in the right number, in the right place with the right proficiency and above all at the right time with due humane considerations.

AFRO invites applications for the following positions :

Lower Division Clerk
Posts: 4
Age limit: Candidates should be between 18-27 years
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.5200-20200/-.
Qualification: Candidates should have pass 12th standard or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/ University. Candidates should have a typing speed of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi on Manual Typewriter. or typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi  on computer.

A self addressed envelope affixing Rs. 5/- postage stamp to be enclosed with the application.
